Marina is an experienced qualitative researcher with nearly a decade of experience at the intersection of immigration policy, research, and service provision. Before joining WORC, Marina held a senior role managing statewide immigrant justice funding programs, leading legal service workshop initiatives, and designing and conducting community-centered research and program evaluations. She first connected with WORC in 2022 through a collaborative research project to improve retention in Illinois' immigrant services sector. Now a part of the team, Marina conducts and supervises qualitative analysis and synthesizes report findings for WORC.
Marina holds a Master of Research from the University of Glasgow, where she was a Fulbright Scholar. In her free time, she teaches yoga and mindfulness throughout Chicago.
